Catholic Worker Homestead, 8614 Brown Rd, Arkport, NY
Come ready to get your hands in the dough. A small group works through a full batch together—mixing, shaping, panning, proofing, and baking twelve loaves. This is real bread-making start to finish, not a demo you watch from a chair, and you’ll leave knowing how to do it again in your own kitchen.
Everyone takes loaves home to share with friends or their community. If you’d rather, you can work with Paul and Peg to find a place for them among the people and groups you already know.
While the loaves are in the oven, there’s time for conversation. Bring a dish to pass if you’d like, and we can enjoy some food together while we wait for the bread to bake.
