Take home whatever you love.\n\nA Potluck of Things works like a potluck dinner\, except there is more than food on the table. Bring the extra tomatoes and squash from the garden. Bring flowers you cut that morning\, or something you made this summer. Bring the good coat\, the tools\, the dishes\, the books that have been sitting in a closet waiting for someone who will actually use them. If it would do more good in another set of hands\, it belongs on the table.\n\nNothing here is for sale. No money changes hands\, and nothing is traded one for one. You do not have to bring anything to take something home.\n\n**How it works**\n\n- Bring a few things you chose with care. Grown\, made\, or already yours. Anything you would be glad to hand a neighbor.\n- Bring a dish to pass if you are able. If you cannot\, come eat anyway. There is always plenty.\n- Set your things out\, look at what everyone else brought\, and take home what you love.\n- Bring a box or a bag to carry things home in. You may leave with more than you expect.\n- Whatever you brought that nobody takes goes back home with you. We leave the park the way we found it.\n\nWe are under the main pavilion\, so this happens rain or shine.\n\nCome even if your hands are empty. A meal in the park with your neighbors is reason enough.
