This group discussion/workshop will cover the ways that consumerism has taken away our confidence and autonomy by training us to buy and consume rather than making and repairing. We’ll discuss ways to build confidence to practice new skills and abilities as well as how to know when to lean into community and ask for help if a task is beyond our own abilities/resources.
