DESCRIPTION:Learn to mend clothing with a simple hand-stitching technique! Using scrap fabric and a needle and thread\, participants will learn how to patch and reinforce holes and tears in garments and make them into unique pieces. All materials will be provided\, including a sample to practice the technique; participants are also welcome to bring a garment to mend (e.g.\, denim pants\, canvas pants or shirt\, or other non-stretch garment).
