Joshua has lived in the Southern Tier for 15 years and in Allegany County for the last three. He tells stories, grows communities, and amplify creative voices, mostly through web design and photography. Community, for him, is how we build resilience and look out for each other. It’s in the simple things—a discussion with friends, gathering for a meal, creating and collaborating—that have fallen by the wayside in a modern world of side hustles, social media, and endless feeds.
When he’s not at a keyboard or behind a camera, you’ll likely find him reading, playing a game, or tending to his new garden. He’s drawn to stories about found family, especially hope punk and cozy sci-fi and fantasy. Roguelikes, deck-builders, and metroidvanias are his games of choice—especially ones with strong character development and storylines. He also loves a well-placed em-dash, regardless of what AI detectors might think.
